Johann Sebastian Bach

Johann Sebastian Bach is considered by many to be one of the greatest composers of all time. His death in 1750 marks the end of the Baroque period. I started listening to Classical music in about 1991 and quickly gravitated towards the music of J.S. Bach. His music struck a chord with me (no pun intended) and I quickly learned to appreciate the emotional expressiveness and the mathematical intricacy of his compositions.

Dave's J.S. Bach Page
Dedicated to the Baroque Composer Johann Sebastian Bach
Created September 11, 1996 · Updated April 1, 2001
There was a J.S. Bach section of my original home page. I later expanded it into it's own site and then eventually, to the domain jsbach.net. The site features a complete listing of all Bach works as well as tons of MIDI files, audio clips, images, and more.

Bach Central Station
A Directory of J.S. Bach Resources on the Internet
Created January 23, 1997 · Updated July, 21 1999
This site was a categorized listing of Bach-related web sites. I couldn't really keep up with the updates so it fell behind and is mostly obsolete by now since many of the links are likely dead. I may try to resurrect this site someday.

The Glenn Gould De-Vocalizer 2000
Now YOU can hum along to Glenn Gould's classic recordings
Created May 21, 1997 · Updated July, 28 1999
What else can I say? It removes the humming from Glenn Gould recordings. Really!
